Rates (quoted in Canadian dollars)
Single occupancy $105 to $115; G-8 meetings and special conferences $109 to $135. Child or third person is $20 to $30.
GST is 7% and charged in addition to prices quoted. GST is refundable to out-of-country residents upon application with certain conditions applied (commission-free forms provided).
Deposits
Conference and long weekend reservations require full payment at time of booking. Block bookings and long-term stays require 50-100% deposit.
Discounts
Members of OMA, CAA and AAA organizations receive 5% during the winter season (October to March).
Spring and fall: 6 consecutive nights 10%, 7 consecutive nights 15%. No discounts during the summer season (June to September). N.B. Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts.
Payment
Visa, MasterCard, Amex, cash and travellers' cheques.
Cancellations
Fourteen days notice. Lack of notice will result in forfeit of deposit or one night charged to your credit card unless we are able to resell the room or have not declined any potential reservations.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
Special arrangements can be made if these times are not convenient. Check-in from 3:00 p.m. Please provide an estimate time of arrival at time of booking. Check-out 10:00 a.m.
During the summer season a reservation for a single night made more than two weeks in advance may not be taken because we have a limited number of rooms and a single night often blocks a 2-3 day or longer booking.
Footwear
It is customary for guests to remove their shoes during inclement weather.
Keys
Guests receive a front door and room key upon arrival. Lost keys will result in a $10.00 charge for each key.
House Hours
There are no restrictions/curfew as to what time guests can come and go. It is common courtesy to be quiet if you are returning late at night or leaving early in the morning.
Breakfast
Monday-Friday 7:30-9:00 a.m. (Please advise of approximate time the evening before.)
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Please notify us by email of any special dietary requirements.
Gratuities
Tipping is discretionary.
Parking
Free parking in our driveway. Please leave your keys if you plan on going out and leaving the car.
Luggage
Ottawa Centre B&B does not have an elevator therefore all luggage must be carried up a flight of stairs. If you are staying at Ottawa Centre for only one night and have several or large suitcases, please pack a smaller case for that night and we will be happy to store your extra cases. We will be happy to assist with your luggage if requested. Oversize backpacks have to be hand carried to your room.
